Shining a Light on Courage: my.SOLIS Supports Hestia House Through Zumba for a Cause

Every November, communities across Canada illuminate their homes, businesses, and landmarks with purple lights — a powerful symbol of solidarity with survivors of domestic violence. The Purple Lights Campaign reminds us that behind closed doors, too many individuals and families face fear and uncertainty. But it also reminds us that we can be the light in someone's darkness.

At my.SOLIS, we believe that every message carries weight — no one should carry it alone. That's why we're proud to support Hestia House, a vital sanctuary in our community that provides emergency shelter, support, and hope to women and children fleeing domestic violence. This November, we're taking our support one step further by partnering with the "Move for Hestia House" Zumba for a Cause event led by ZIN Instructor Tammy Rousselle Moore — because sometimes the best way to create change is to move together.

Zumba Tickets

Join us for an energizing Zumba session that combines fitness, fun, and fundraising. You can even pick up a HumanHugger tank as an addon when you get your tickets at EventBrite. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, this event is for everyone who wants to make a difference. Proceeds will go directly to Hestia House to help provide essential resources for families in crisis.

Can't make it? You can still participate by making a donation or spreading the word on social media. Every share, every dollar, and every purple light helps break the silence around domestic violence.
